I don’t understand how they have poor ratings. I’ve been to this hospital a number of times and always encountered such lovely people, yet to have anything negative to say about them. I’ve had two babies here both times the midwives and medical teams were fantastic. I’ve had to use emergency before that and everyone I dealt with was nice. Just recently had my two sensory sensitive boys in for their hearing to be tested and I can’t highly recommend the allied health team there enough. The volunteers that are around to help you if you’re lost, such nice people.
Even parking isn’t bad! At least now you have to pay (which isn’t a lot mind you) you can actually find a park.
Highly recommend this Hospital.

Took great care of me and my baby. I came in at 20 weeks pregnant with a UTI and kidney infection and felt really well looked after. Thank you to Mikayla for changing my IV antibiotics and being so kind and reassuring.

Just from a food perspective, this place is way better than the sunshine coast university hospital, (SCUH).
The food here is actually edible, the food at SCUH is utterly disgusting.
You need decent food to recover, the menu and the ordering app is very good.
From a care perspective it's also very good.

We brought my grandson Allan to the clinic last week n we can't thank you enough for the compassion, kindness n love that was provided by everyone there. The nurses n the doctors were so wonderful. I have been sitting here with my partner since before 5 pm. It is currently 1 am. The red headed nurse with the Irish accent has told us to “be quiet” as if we are in a library then proceeded to tell my partner that she needs to “control” me. She then ripped the blood pressure machine off my partners arm very aggressively when my partner reacted to her saying that.
My partner has not been seen by a doctor yet & we have been threatened to be kicked out for simply trying to enjoy our time in the EMERGENCY department, after already waiting 7+ hours.
Irish nurse, do better
