Thank you so much to the team at Redcliffe Hospital who were so caring when I arrived at the ED yesterday. They immediately ran tests and gave great reassurance in a stressful situation. Nurse Shauna, Lilli, Kay and I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the Medical staff member from Liverpool, but you were all brilliant and you had lots to deal with, you deserve a medal. The paramedics that brought me into the hospital were also super lovely. I just can't thank you all enough. Have a happy & healthy New Year Maggie 🤗

This is a gratitude post! I am truly grateful for the exceptional care and support provided by the Redcliffe hospital Emergency team of doctors and nurses during my recent admission. Your expertise, patience, and compassion made a significant difference in my recovery, and I cannot thank you enough for your dedication. I deeply appreciate everything you have done for me and would like to say special thanks to Nurse Bethany (on duty that day) for her patience and care. I was amazed how quickly they started me on treatment (including getting tests, X-Rays, blood samples, starting medications) everything under half an hour. Thank you again for everything you do for your patients.

I went into ICU, thinking I may have asthma, it was "just" a cough, and the wonderful Dr Neil and team found something wasn't right. Absolutely amazing to have had a Doctor who listened to every symptom, and put them together to discover my severe symptoms, diagnoses and management plan. Doctor, Lord Neil, you have changed my life, and your wonderful team have helped save my life. Forever grateful to the Boss Man. Xx

Left a Covid positive patient in the general waiting area where other patients were visible uncomfortable being in so close. They were meant to give her a wheelchair because she was brought in via ambulance after calling 000 because she her ability breathing had become compromised she wasn't able to walk. After a chest scan they left her alone for so long she soiled herself. Absolutely disgusting behaviour of ALL staff in the ER. The only response when speaking to a staff member in person there was "sorry you had a bad experience" "there's a phone to call a cab". They didn't even offer a towel to the patient when they found out her clothing was soiled. They haven't changed in 15 years. When I was admitted they misdiagnosed pneumonia and administered the wrong medication for 7 days and couldn't figure out why I was getting worse, why my left lung was completely filled with fluid. I was in the pedeatric ward and the night shift nurses came across like they hates their jobs. The fluid in the IV was leaking into my forearm and I was in enough pain where I was crying and couldn't sleep and all the nurse had to say was "go back to bed". I was a child and she didn't care that I was in pain. Instead of wasting money on a car park they need to build a new hospital, employ people who actually give a damn and not fall back on "oh we're really busy, go suffer in the corner quietly thanks" as a reason for being so understaffed and having apathetic staff working there.

To the Doctors, nurses, other hospital staff at Redcliffe Hospital, I just want to say a massive thank you for taking such amazing care of my husband over the past 11 days from the time he arrived in a critical state on Fri 13th through til when he was discharged yesterday. In the ER i was informed that due to his condition he probably wouldn’t survive the surgery that was required to remove a serious infection, and if he did he’d be send to the ICU. Thankfully he did survive and spent 4 days in the ICU before being transferred to a general ward where he spend the rest of his stay. I know sometimes Redcliffe gets some negative reviews but we can’t fault you at all. Every one of you have been incredible. Special mention also to the three paramedics who attended to him. Your quick actions and professionalism all contributed to saving his life. Thank you, from this very grateful wife :)
