Customer service upon arrival on Christmas Day were very friendly and helpful allowing us to access our room 1hr earlier than our anticipated time. Our room was spotless and the shower and bed were some of the best we have had. Grant from the restaurant was super helpful and a pleasure to interact with and also gave us some very helpful hints on getting around the city. Amazing stay.

Wedding planners from Hell ! A wedding is a very big emotional event for a couple. So we wanted to get it right. But North Lakes Hotel certainly didn't. Booked 1 year 8 months in advance. Meeting, date locked in, signed paperwork, deposits secured. But the hotel booked a bigger event, cancelled our date, booked out all the hotel rooms and wanted to charge us more than the standard rate. We only found out when one of our guests called to book a hotel room, to be told there was no wedding booked in our names. Then the hotel managers tried with no luck to make this our problem. With the Gaul to think this would not be distressing and a difficult situation, and wanted an apology for getting upset. This hotel has zero accountability, nothing short of discraceful. This has tainted our wedding preparations. We had to pay for new invitations. Don't risk having any special occasion at North Lakes Hotel

Visited the cafe as a group of 6 last Sunday at 10am. 4 of the 6 meals and drinks came out in a reasonable time. We had to ask staff twice to check on the other 2 meals which were Avo on toast. After about 45 mins to an hour we cancelled the Avo on toast and asked for our money back as it still hadn't arrived. The 4 meals we did receive were very nice. Coffee was also good. Lovely venue, and very nice outlook so it was a shame.

Great location, with modern but basic rooms that are clean and comfortable. The complimentary amenities (coffee, milk, pool access) are a nice touch. The property is well-maintained; I’ll definitely stay again. Having the restaurant/café downstairs and the convenience of free (or paid) onsite parking is a huge plus.

My 13 year old daughter and I were placed in an apartment here through emergency accommodation (DOH). Finally we were in a place we could turn into a little home and settle for a while. Then, Gemma decides to storm up to the door and thrust an uber eats order into my hand with a warning re collection. I became extremely anxious as I do when any place we are staying is compromised. Gemma then cried to management stating I was violent towards her, and slammed the door in her face. Homelessness is the most traumatic experience when you are trying to provide for your child and can’t. I live with multiple mental illnesses and was diagnosed with mild Tourette’s Syndrome in 2016. The anxiety caused me to elevate my tone and use profanity. A support/diagnosis letter has been provided to Stuart (manager) explaining my situation, yet after he and another male staff member (who was recording me on his phone), came to the door, he decided due to my ‘aggressive behaviour’ my daughter and I had to leave. This is purely discrimination, against someone who lives with a disability. I can’t help it. Currently I am having communication with S management about this, and will continue to pursue this matter until I am heard and treated like a human being and not an animal. JEREMY - PLEASE SHARE YOUR FOOTAGE OF MY ‘RANTING BEHAVIOUR’. THAT WILL BE DIFFICULT FOR YOU BECAUSE IT DOESN’T EXSIST DOES IT???
