A HUMUNGUS thank you to Ben and Erin from the station for their prompt and caring service yesterday when I had an 'episode' I was 'on the mend' by the time you arrived, but we had to be sure. My trip to the Mater was uneventful, but I feel so bad for you guys having to wait around 'ramping' for hours on end. While so many ambos are 'parked in the queue' in corridors, many other people are missing out. It's a sad state of affairs. Fortunately, my visit ended well and I was allowed home later that evening. You guys do an amazing job, I don't know how you 'keep your cool' when you have to wait hours to dispatch a patient. Thanks again, much appreciated.

A huge thank you to the great team who came so quickly to my home in Birkdale last Wednesday morning where I had had a heart attack and was in agonizing pain.
Sorry I can't remember their names but everyone did a fantastic job.
They worked on me for sometime before racing me to PA Hospital with sirens and lights on where I was immediately taken into the cardiac Cath lab for stenting of three blocked arteries.
Must have been extremely close to having a full cardiac arrest and probably death if not for their great work.
Just wish that the Fentanyl pain relief had worked for me, perhaps it did a little and I just needed a much higher dose.

I must congratulate The QLD Ambulance Service to Two of their offices: Wendy and Paul.
They transported me to Hospital from my Doctors Rooms and from the first meeting I felt I was in good hands. The Professionalism, Efficiency and wonderful bed side manner needs to be applauded. I have never been in a Ambulance before and I must say it was a trip that I will remember as being stress free and completely relaxing as everything that had to be done was explained and demonstrated in a way that didn't make me feel concerned in any way.

I recently had an accident in the Tingalpa Creek bush reserve. The birkdale ambulance came to my rescue. They were so proffessional and kind I felt completely confident that I was in the best possible hands. Thankyou Gabby and team.
