On 2/10/22 we requested an ambulance for my son.
We've been worried about long delays and catastrophic stories in the media surrounding the performance of the QAS so we were prepared to wait for hours and assisting our son the best as we can.
Within 30 minutes paramedics Joel and Chris arrived on ambulance 5164.
What a couple of friendly, caring and professional people.
They did a thorough initial exam of the issue and within 30 minutes my son was in the good care of the Emergency ward at the RBWH. We were absolutely impressed. Many thanks!

I was involved in a hit and run head on collision on the corner of Wynnum Road and the Gateway. I don't know the names of the staff members who were on but just wanted to send my thanks for their care and professionalism. It was a traumatic experience and the paramedic and student paramedic who were taking care of me were very professional and caring. Thank you.

My partner recently called an ambulance for me at 4:30am on a Saturday morning. Jeremy and his partner arrived and couldn’t have been better. They dropped me off at the Mater and came back to check how I was going before leaving. It was great how much these 2 enjoyed their job!

On Monday 28/07/15 about 08:15 my wife had a heart attack and following the 000 call the Ambulance arrived amazing quickly and then a Senior Paramedic on being called. She was assessed and medicated while arrangements were made for immediate admission to the Princess Alexandra Hospital. While in-transit further medication was administered and on arrival she was taken straight to the theatre which was being prepared for her.
As a result of the prompt action by the QATB and Hospital Staff, my wife is now recovering as well as possible and hopes for discharge by Friday 31/07/15. I have nothing but praise for all the Staff and their speedy responses and skilled actions. We are indeed fortunate to be in the area where this is available. Well Done to all concerned.
