Just wanted to express my immense gratitude to the amazing staff at Kilcoy Hospital. Specifically, to Nurse Celeste and Doctor Ancha Kamakav. I developed bronchitis while on holiday, and they were unbelievable when I arrived there on Sunday morning. Celeste was an angel, she was compassionate, patient and caring. I was further blessed that Doctor Kamakav happened to be there that morning, and she immediately helped me. Both ladies’ bedside manner and just utmost kindness made me feel cared for. Thank you for extending your precious small-town hospitality to visitors. Thank you for acting out of passion and care and not out of duty. Praying God’s richest blessing on you both.

Personally had a great experience here. I came off my bike on the rail trail and injured my knee badly - was taken by ambulance here as Esk hospital had no doctor and couldn’t accept me. The ambos were so wonderful. I was the only person in the ED when I arrived and was seen by the doctor (I think she said her name was Chantel) after about an hour. Some of that time was spent doing paperwork etc and Carolyn who I think was the nurse on was lovely to me and bought me a warm blanket as I was shaking and shivering. My knee was cleaned out and stitched up etc, then Carolyn bought me some tea, a muffin and ham sandwiches to eat while I waited to be picked up. Really good care.

Absolutely horrible went only to be there over an hour with no one else waiting. Only for the nurse to pretty much ignore me when she sat me on the chair till I demanded to see the doctor because I was in so much pain, doctor came told me nothing she could do and I left. Rang 131health as soon as I got back to my van as I travel full-time they put me straight through to virtual ED gave me a meds script for pain relief and apologised for the treatment from the Kilcoy Hospital saying it was extremely unprofessional

My ASD 9 year old son had a camping accident where put an axe 2/3 through a toe. I arrived and we were taken straight in for treatment. The Doctor was fantastic and called around to Private hospitals as the injury needed surgery to find a specialist surgeon.
Within the hour they had cleaned the wound, provided pain relief and provided us with all the documents needed.
