The solicitor handling our matter was satisfactory; however, there were considerable delays in getting hold of the lawyer. Calls were frequently routed overseas, which made communication difficult and, unfortunately, not a pleasant experience. This resulted in wasted time and unnecessary frustration.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this Brisbane team. In contrast, the Canberra team from the same group has been far more supportive and efficient. We had to rely on Surya from the Canberra office for further assistance, and even now we are still waiting on some responses.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a legal guru.They show zero value for their clients or even the other side they’re dealing with. Communication is appalling — it took 4 days just to get a reply on something that should have been a 1-minute task. I could never get hold of the main lawyer, only pushed around to others with no accountability.
If you want a firm that ignores your calls, drags their feet, and treats you like your time doesn’t matter, this is the one. If you actually care about professional service and respect, avoid them at all costs.

We had the most wonderful experience with Legal Guru with conveyancing. We had some issues from the Bank side, but our Solicitor Amy McCormick was amazing in helping us throughout the whole situation, she was very proactive, smart and understanding. Highly recommended.
