Had a great experience, was in overnight with a bucket handle, using the crouches to get around for a walk and just watching how hard they all work, the nurses to the doctors.
Listening to them also some of the conversations are very funny.
Thanks everyone.

I do not normally write a post, but I wanted to say thank you to all the medical personnel who helped my husband in the hospital. He was seen in emergency on Thursday night and had extensive tests done. Everybody we had interaction with, was kind courteous and professional. Wonderful staff. Brilliant doctors. You all should be extremely proud of your work. Thank you especially to the ward nursing and staff in emergency staff for all you did for me.

To Beatrice Torie,
I would like to thank you for your work and attention to the fine details. A fabulous young lady, an asset to the team in the hospital. She is mature, attentive, understanding, and caring.
I had been in the hospital on a number of occasions, and all staff that I had been in contact with is fabulous.
B, I hope by fate you and I can meet again.
Thank you all very much and keep up with the fabulous work.

they called me a liar and a hypochondriac every time I begged for help and I had BRAIN CANCER all along. but nobody ever listen to me so I went 15 years without treatment or support. if you enjoy living, go somewhere else. if you love your family, take them anywhere else. there is no help here, they are too deep in their power trips to see beyond their egotism and stupidity. worst case they decide you're too "difficult" to just keep kicking out because you won't "admit to lying", and they send you to the "mental health unit" at Caboolture where they torture people to "teach you a lesson" (that is a direct quote from a "nurse" at the meat grinder Caboolture has instead of a mental health unit).
they will steal every last shred of dignity and humanity you have and leave you with nothing for over a decade, or longer.
I was HAPPY to be diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, because I knew that meant I would NEVER experience treatment like I'd experienced here again. and I haven't. because now I get the help I deserved all along.
disgusting third world facility full of high school bully nurses who think nobody can be right except them and who think it's fine to let people suffer for decades without treatment.

Left a Covid positive patient in the general waiting area where other patients were visibly uncomfortable being in close proximity. Staff were meant to give her a wheelchair because she was brought in via ambulance after calling 000 and was told she was not allowed to walk because her ability to breathe had become compromised. After a chest scan, they left her alone for so long that she soiled herself despite trying to signal staff that she needed assistance.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour from ALL staff in the ER. The only response when speaking to a staff member in person there was "sorry you had a bad experience" and "there's a phone to call a cab". They didn't even offer a towel to the patient when they found out her clothing was soiled.
They haven't changed in 15 years. When I was admitted, they misdiagnosed pneumonia and administered the wrong medication for 7 days and couldn't figure out why I was getting worse and why my left lung was completely filled with fluid. I was in the pedeatric ward, and the night shift nurses came across like they hate their jobs. The fluid in the IV was leaking into my forearm, and I was in enough pain where I was crying and couldn't sleep, and all the nurse had to say was, "Go back to bed." I was a child, and she didn't care.
Instead of wasting money on a car park, they need to employ more people who actually give a damn and not fall back on "oh we're really busy, go suffer in the corner quietly thanks" as a reason for being so understaffed and having apathetic staff working there.
