Despite being old, it’s a very good hospital. The service and care is exceptional. Big shout to Cece, Lucy, Hayley, and Brenda for their care and kindness.

Recently came in for surgery for our 2 year old daughter, experience was good no issues. Staff lovely. Hospital is very dated and old but does the trick
Only comment would be room service is not patient friendly and quite annoying.
Whilst it may be convenient ordering when desired it’s not an easy process

A while ago i went here because of a unique condition i had. They had diagnosed me with the wrong condition and I was given the wrong IV treatment medication, i didn't want to stay the night so that may have been my fault, but the doctor who came in was sure he was right saying i could leave that night. They also made us pay hundreds of dollars for all that. I had to go to the Mater in the city and they provided the correct treatment without paying a single dollar. On the good note, I found the nurses and doctors here were very friendly and caring.

I recently had surgery at The Wesley Hospital and cannot speak highly enough of the care I received. Every member of staff I encountered made me feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. They managed to strike a rare and valuable balance between being highly efficient and professional, while also remaining warm, friendly, and approachable.
I’d like to give a special mention to Helen in Pre-Admissions, who was exceptional. She is a credit to her profession, and her compassion and thoroughness set the tone for my entire experience.
Thank you to everyone at The Wesley Hospital for taking such excellent care of me. Your commitment to patient wellbeing is truly appreciated.

Plenty of specialists here, and relatively easy to find from the main hospital. If guy are a slow Walker or have a disability arrives a bit early, as parking can be very difficult and the medical centre can end up being a bit of a walk.
Lifts are quick in the building and huge so no real issues there and centres and doctors are well signposted, so even if you don't remember the suite number you can look it up on every floor.
