Initially I wasn't quite sure how to describe this establishment. On first impressions it felt like walking into a five star hotel. It just has that ambience about it, warm and inviting with unique artwork everywhere.
The admission process was effortless and before I knew it I was dressed for surgery in a clean comfortable cotton gown (not one of those paper ones). Straight from admission to a comfortable recliner chair and then wrapped up in a warm soft blanket. Shortly after a team of doctors including my own specialist Dr Chin briefed me on the surgery process. I knew I was in excellent hands with my surgical team as they were hand picked by Dr Chin.
I now think it's prudent for me to outline the negative and positive aspects of my week long stay at the Wesley Private Hospital.
Negative Aspects;
Nil, zero, zilch & nought. Couldn't think of one negative thing regarding my surgery and post operative care.
Positive Aspects;
Without writing War & Peace, I'll just give a brief account of some of the amazing care and treatment I received during my stay on Ward 6E East Wing. To start with I highly commend and thank every hospital service whether it be the cleaning staff, catering wing, reception staff, helpful volunteers and right up to our highly dedicated Australian Nursing Sisters.
To put it succinctly the Nursing staff on this ward are truly amazing. There is nothing they wouldn't do for you. Their knowledge and professionalism is well and truly above and beyond their station.
As an example I suffered a significant neck bleed post surgery. Within minutes four nurses attended and very quickly stopped any further bleeding and then professionaly dressed the wound site.
I could go on and on about countless more of these wonderful nurses with respect to their care and kindness throughout my stay, however I would be writing a biography on each and every one of them.
One Nursing Sister in particular I would like to thank is Nurse Laura for her dedication and clear leadership, she is one of the most professional, kind and caring nurses I have encountered so-far.
There was one other naughty nurse who shall remain nameless that went above and beyond to fix my TV when it suddenly stopped working. Given her fragile condition I was extremely alarmed at her climbing to such a height. However she did manage to fix my TV and then just brushed it off as if it were all part of a days work. Amazing young lady like so many other nurses working on this ward.
Sadly I have now come to the point of discharge from this impressive hospital and must leave.
I will always have fond memories of my restful and comfortable stay here at Wesley Private.
To all of the kind and beautiful staff at Wesley Private thank-you from the bottom of my heart for all your kind care and help in bringing me back to good health once again.
Kindest Regards
Chris Kerley

The Wonderful Wesley Hospital... what a warm, welcoming, well-run hospital. From my pre-admission check-in to my final farewell, I was treated with respect, professionalism, care and consideration. Impressive culture you have created; overall, your team are happy and committed.
My stay was four nights on surgical ward and seven nights in rehab following total hip replacement by the diligent and dedicated Dr Bjorn Smith and his team.
Room was spacious and airy. Coffee machine on ward a blessing. A la carte Room Service an unexpected delight.
The Wesley Hospital has a heart; thank you to all who touched my heart.

I’ve had to stay at The Wesley many times, but each visit has been made a little easier by the kind and caring staff. No matter how busy they are, they always take the time to listen and make you feel cared for. You can see how well they work together and how much they truly care about their patients. The rooms are comfortable, the food is great, and the whole atmosphere feels warm and supportive. I’m so grateful for everyone there, they really make a difficult time so much better. Thank you.
